One of the first things I bought for this trip was a book called Glacier Mountaineering, An Illustrated Guide to Glacier Travel and Crevasse Rescue by Andy Tyson and Mike Clelland. I need everything explained to me IN DETAIL. The illustrations are definitely detailed and show all sorts of different scenarios, not just the ideal ones. Also, its funny.
